This documentary short, directed by Brennan Vance, was completed in 2024, and was funded by a HRSA grant as part of the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) at the University of Minnesota. It showcases the incredible work provided by several direct service professionals (DPS’s) caring for Dan, a 74-year-old artist with cerebral palsy. It premiered at the 44th annual Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival (MSPIFF) on April 11, 2025, where it won both the Jury and Audience Choice Awards for Best Documentary Short.
